Shirley Belle Drake Lehnen, 90, of Asheville, North Carolina and formerly of Gainesville, Florida died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the John F. Keever Solace Center, Asheville. Shirley was born February 19, 1925 in Mankato, Kansas to the late Ralph and Bernice Drake. On August 17, 1946 she married Robert Joseph Lehnen who died in 2002. She was also predeceased by her sister Margaret Ann Drake Parker. Surviving are her son Jeffrey Drake Lehnen and his wife, Kim of Arden, NC; her daughter Lindsey Lehnen Fisher and husband, Randy Fisher of Social Circle, Georgia; two grandsons Matthew Lehnen (Karen) of Fort Mill, SC, and Daniel Lehnen of Gainesville; two granddaughters, Allyson Hooper (Marti) of Fletcher, NC, and Alexis Ives of Gainesville; and two great-grandsons.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at Forest Meadows Cemetery Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida.
