Shirley M. Laflam, 95, passed away on January 14, 2021 at the E.T. York Hospice Care
Center in Gainesville.
Because of the COVID-10 pandemic a private graveside service will be held at Forest
Meadows Cemetery West, 700 NW 143 rd Street, Newberry, FL 32669 on January 20, 2021 at
2:00 with Reverend Brian Wrobel of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Forest Meadows Funeral
Home are handling the funeral arrangements. Shirley M. Laflam was born in Chicago,
Illinois to Ernest and Mildred Langer on July 21, 1925. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles
and playing card games.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Mildred Langer, her husband Robert J.
Laflam and daughter Linda M. Hall.
Shirley is survived by her Granddaughter, Melanie Lawton (Bruce) of Lake Butler and Great
Grandchild Bryce Lawton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 1700 Nw 34 TH
