Shirley Mae Miller, 85, of Gainesville died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Bradford Terrace in Starke, FL.  Shirley was born in Rocky Ford, CO to Howard and Velma Brown. 

 

Shirley was a Finger Print Technician for the Livermore Sheriff’s Department before moving to Gainesville in 1999. Shirley enjoyed fishing especially for Sturgeon in the Sacramento River and hunting, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Relief Society in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church Gainesville Ward 2.

 

Shirley is predeceased by her brother Robert Brown and is survived by her daughters Sheryl Miller and Susan Rush of Gainesville, sons Kenneth Miller of Carthage, IL and Tim Miller of Gilmer, TX and brothers Howard, Donald, David, Doyle and George Brown. Shirley has 15 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Miller will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 10600 SW 24th Ave., Gainesville, FL on Tuesday June 5th at 1:o0pm with the visitation starting at 11:30am in the Relief Society Room.  Interment/Dedication ceremony will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave., Gainesville.
