Stephanie Jones Burgess, 75, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on Feb 15, 2021 in Gainesville, Florida.

Stephanie was born in New York, New York to Mary Habala and Steven Habala on Nov 16, 1945. She went to high school at Weequahic High School and graduated in 1963. She worked at Area Agency on Aging for UF for 10 years. She was involved in Voulunteer work at St. Patricks . She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Habala. Father, Steven Habala. Sister, Annie Scofi. Stephanie is survived by her Daughter Kristen Edwards, of Largo. Son, Doug Burgess, of Gainesville. Son, Benjamin Burgess, of Gainesville. Daughter, Melissa Burgess, of Gainesville, Granddaughter, Hailey Burgess, of Gainesville. Grandson, Austin Heller, of Cincinnati. Granddaughter, Hannah Burgess, of Orlando. Granddaughter, Bethany Burgess, of Keystone Heights. Granddaughter, Kylie Burgess, of Gainesville.  Grandson, Ethan Burgess, of Gainesville.  Grandon Boston Burgess, of Williston.  Grandson Jesse Burgess, of Williston.  Granddaughter, Marley Burgess, of Gainesville. She also left behind extended family in New Jersey.
