It is with great sadness that the family of Tina Marchelle Williams announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She was born in Gainesville, FL, October 22, 1970 and later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she lived most of her adult life. She graduated from Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Class of 1989 where she was a member of the Marching Band playing her instrument of choice, the Trumpet. She pursued her life-long passion of helping others by becoming a Registered Nurse, (RN). She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, (BSN) in 2018. Tina loved the study of Psychology, her passion for both people and nursing inspired her to take it to the next level as she was in pursuit of a Nurse Practitioner Profession.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son Javon C. Holmes; grandson Greyson Holmes; children’s father Jody C. Holmes; mother Wilma Laura Latson (Christopher); reared by grandmother Wilhelmina Thomas; two brothers Christopher Jones (Tanya), Tyrone Jones; half-brothers Chris Latson, Derrick Latson; surrogate to niece Chrishonda Jones, surrogate to Nephew Ervin Jones; a host of loving Nieces and Nephews; one great Aunt Mable Carter; two Aunts, Juanita Hodges (Alton), Angela Bradley; one uncle Eugene Bradley (Melonie); a host of loving cousins, and extraordinary friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Shenice Holmes.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30pm, on September 10, 2020, Forest Meadows Cemetery (Central), 4100 NW 39 th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32606. An interment will follow at 3700 SE Hawthorne Road, Gainesville, FL 32641.

I will never forget her zest for life and how she ALWAYS kept it real. She was my big sister in a lot of ways, I loved because I am an actual oldest child. Her big heart was second to none and I love you Tee. SIP
I will always remember my cousin. Tina and I were raised for a while by grandma like brother and sister. She being the first granddaughter and me being the first grandson. Beanie, you are sorely missed. Thank you for loving and accepting my wife the first time you met her. You left some huge shoes to fill but I will do my best. Sleep in peace cuz! Tine tine I will miss you forever. We looked out for each other. Did surgeties alike and feeling good about ourselves and now you left me. I’m crying all the time. My God I’m still in dis belief that I won’t see you dancing, singing and lighting up the place with all the festive celebrations. You had an outfit for every season holidays. Such a great sport uplifting us even when we felt down at work. Tina’s word, “I got you”. Always ready to help. May your soul RIP.

Most of my childhood memories was with Tina , and I can not express how much laughter and good times we had , those memories will never be forgotten , it harden my heart so deeply to know she’s gone, but I know she’s with the Father , so I can rejoice and makes my heart feel better. Cousin this is still unbelievable but I thank God for having you in my life especially throughout nursing school. You encouraged me to stay the course and we talked about doing travel nursing together. Man oh man you are definitely missed already. Love ????
